Welcome to the summer term! As it is supposed to be the season of warm weather, we would like to draw your attention to the following:
As the days heat up, it is important that the children wear sun hats on bright sunny days. Please ensure that your child brings a sun hat to school throughout the summer term.
It is essential for the children to drink plenty of water during the day. Please ensure that your child brings a water bottle each day with their name on it.
During the summer term, our PE lessons may venture outside (weather dependant). We will of course be practising for sports day too! Please check that your child’s plimsolls are the correct size and ensure that the plimsolls are named.
This half term, our topic is about dinosaurs. We would welcome any non-fiction books on dinosaurs for the children to share with the class. To find out more about our topic and what we will be learning about, please take a look at our topic overview.
If you would like to support your child further at home, please take a look at our homework grid. Mr Mooney and Miss Bolton will be giving out awards for completed pieces of homework.
Many thanks for your continuous support,
The foundation team J
