WELCOME TO THE SUMMER TERM
We do hope you all have had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready for the final term of the year.
The SATs tests take place on the 3rd week back (13th – 16th May) and whilst they are important, we do want the children to remember, that we are only asking the children to do their best. This year the children have all worked very hard and we couldn’t have asked for any more, therefore whatever they achieve we will be extremely proud of them. During the week of SATs, we would be grateful if all the children could arrive at school with plenty of time to spare, as there is nothing worse than the feeling of being late to unsettle them. We will be starting the tests each day by 9.30, so the children have time, to come in calmly; settle down; and become focused. Should there be a problem any day, please ring the office for advice. After SATs week our focus will be writing and researching the evolution of dance and music.
This term is incredibly short and we have lots to fit into the last few remaining weeks. As well as preparing children for their transition to secondary school, supporting them with organisation and independence skills, we will also be rehearsing for the end of year production. More information on this to follow!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers for their continued support throughout the year.
