In school last week, we have been writing poems about the moon, drawing the moon and looking at the phases of the moon. Here you can see how we got on and have a go at some of the activities yourselves and others. Have fun!!

How to write a moon poem.

Astronaut cut out. You need 5 split pins for this and preferably print on card. As you can see we added our own photographs too!

For the moon art, we looked carefully at photographs of the moon and used chalks and pastels on black paper to copy the craters, colours and shapes.

Other English activities.

Apollo 13 reading comprehension. Choose your level.
