  • Go through the 'ay' digraph PowerPoint slides (below) and have a go at reading the words containing the 'ay' digraph.
  • Afterwards, have a go at completing the 'ay' digraph activity worksheet (below). 
  • If you don't have a printer, you can practise writing out the 'ay' digraph. Then see if you can write the words out on plain paper containing the 'ay' digraph. 


  • Have you been to a farm before? Can you remember which animals live there?
  • Go to the Espresso website and log in using your username and password.
  • Click on 'Foundation' and then select 'Understanding the World'.
  • Click on 'Animals Resource Box' and watch the 'Farm Animal Videos' in the 'Video Vault'.
  • Then discuss your favourite farm animal with a grown-up.
  • Afterwards, draw or paint a picture of your favourite farm animal and have a go at writing a sentence about it.

Enjoy the movement patterns. Can you make up some noisy ones? Have fun!
