Follow the weekly Maths programme on https://whiterosemaths.com - choose home learning and then the early years option. Select Summer term-week 6(w/c 01.06.20).
The Snail and the Whale story to match this week’s work is read by Mrs Boa. She is the Senco (Special Educational needs Co-Ordinator) at our school.
Monday – make a spiral dangler or your own edible snail shells.
Tuesday – dot around your spiral using your funky fingers. What pattern did you make? Use your addition skills to tell a first, then, now story.
Wednesday – Did you tally the number of problems/dangers or make a numbered list?
Thursday – Follow the snail on his journey. Is he on an odd or even number of friends? Did you use a ten frame or 2 plates to help you decide?
Friday – the snail does a lot of crawling. Is the snail higher up the wall than the worm or lower? Where did you leave your slivery, slimy trail. Make a map.
