  • Re-watch the video - Geraldine Giraffe learns the 'ow' digraph (two letters that make one sound):
  • Then have a go at writing out the 'ow' sound and practising writing the words containing the 'ow' digraph using the sound sheet (below). If you do not have a printer, you can trace over some letters written out by a grown-up and then have a go at drawing out some of your own on plain paper.

Use your sound mat and red word lists to write some sentences about Percy the Park Keeper. Don't forget all the things on your writing checklist. You might want to draw your own picture and write some sentences on lines underneath or you might want to use one of the attached writing frames.
