Children's Mental Health Week 2024
The week beginning Monday 5th February is Children's Mental Health Week; this is an initiative of the charity Place2Be.
At school, we will be marking the week with an assembly and various other activities, exploring this year's theme of "My Voice Matters". In particular, we are encouraging our pupils to think about what makes them special and unique, and how they can express themselves and their feelings. On the Wednesday of that week (7th February), we will have a non-uniform day (no donation needed), when the children and staff are asked to express their personality through their favourite and most colourful clothing - so they may want to wear a brightly coloured outfit, or dress in their favourite colours.
