Welcome to Little Bowden's sports page, please take a look around. If you have any enquires regarding sport please do not hesitate to email us at sports@littlebowden.leics.sch.uk .

Within Little Bowden we have a strong dedicated PE Department that work alongside the teachers and support staff, ensuring all children get consistent, inclusive, high quality PE. We offer a wide range of sports that give children the opportunity to develop skills that are transferable between sports and outdoor activities.

Last year (2018/19) we managed to achieve our Gold school games mark! Our aim is to keep School sports and PE to this standard.

Working from foundation right the way up, our goal is to cater for every child’s individual needs, offering close support within lessons so all pupils are pushed to succeed.

We pride ourselves in the extra-curricular clubs that we offer, that aim to give children a chance to take part in different sports. As a school we enter as many competitions as possible putting as higher number of teams that we can with the goal to give every child a chance to represent the school and get a feel for competitive sport within their time at Little Bowden. We are also delighted to announce that currently (November 2019) we have a fantastic attendance at our clubs. 91.8% of our Key Stage 2 pupils currently attend at least one sports club.
